Shifting Improvements

Correct gear hunting for automatics, reduce rev hang for manuals.

Do you suffer from constant up and down shifts during certain conditions on the trail? Sometimes double downshifting and racing the rpms putting unneeded stress on your trucks engine and transmission? Do you lack the ability to have the expected acceleration in any given gear?

For automatics, the adjusted calibrations offer the TCU (transmission control unit) table settings which significantly improve the shift behavior. These proper adjustments allow critical refinements proven to:

I remember feeling my truck ignore my slight push to the accelerator....entirely. Push down further and nothing, further still then off we go! It's just not working as expected like any other vehicle I have ever driven. How to MT owners even get close to shifting with this when on my automatic it's so unoptimized?

Both the 6 and 4 cylinders can deliver power much better then the factory settings. If you don't feel your truck pulling through the powerband you much have a stock Tacoma!

While others might tout max gains on a dyno we all know these are not intended to be race trucks...if you want one of those we support FI options to! For the rest of us there is improvements that directly provide power in low end these trucks do not have otherwise. Instead of gains above 5000 RPM consider improvements where they matter in your daily commute or weekend warrior trail ride needs to access:
